I’m usually not super susceptible to peer pressure. However, I’ve recently fallen down a hole that I’m happy to stay in, and that’s TV show recommendation peer pressure. I was hanging out with my friends this Friday, and they were talking about the HBO series Girls. The conversation lasted so long, and I got so …

Relatable Memes That Might Make You Blow Air Out of Your Nose
There are so many ways to communicate that you find something funny. While some contexts condone raucous crazy laughter that makes standup comedians stop their set to find the guy with the weird laugh, other situations require a little more understated laughter. When you’re listening to a podcast or scrolling through funny memes on your …

A Sweet Selection of Dog Memes And Not Dog Memes
I love dogs. There’s no getting around the fact that they are my favorite pets around, and I don’t think anything will ever change that. I know many members of the meme community are cat people, which I respect. I wish I could be a cat person, but I don’t have it in me. I …

Random Memes That Reign Superior Over Random Dancing
It’s weird to watch the TV shows you were obsessed with when you were a kid and realize that they’re not as funny as you remember them to be. I wouldn’t expect shows like iCarly and Victorious to still appeal to someone in their early 20s; the aging of Nickelodeon shows is a much-needed reminder …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (March 25, 2023)
I think about the supervillain rise and fall of former Disney chairman and CEO Michael Eisner more than I should. If you’ve ever read anything about the history of Disney from the 80s to the 2000s, Eisner is guaranteed to be one of the main characters in the business side of things. If you’re unfamiliar …

Normal Memes That’ll Make You ‘Have a Normal One’
I feel like there’s a lot of stigma associated with being average. Not to have a boomer take, but I do think that telling kids they were gifted and talented in the 90s and early 2000s because they read more chapter books than their peers was a mistake. Whenever the topic of «gifted kids,» maybe …

Funny Memes, No Assembly Required
Having a sense of humor is an invaluable quality. You don’t have to be a brilliant standup comedian to know that! Comedy is highly beneficial if you’re weak in other social skills. How many times have you heard the story of the class clown who was able to gain the respect of their fellow students …

Backlogged Memes That Got Lost in the System
We’ve got a lot of memes in the system here at Memebase. Most of them are floating around in one drawer or another, waiting to be used later. It’s my job to find all the memes stuffed in a filing cabinet and decide which ones deserve to breathe the sweet air of spring. It’s not …

Absurd Memes That Get A Little Crazy
If there’s one type of humor that defines the youngest generation, it’s absurd humor. Every young adult I know is obsessed with the sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave far more than they’re invested in Saturday Night Live. Absurd humor is also the dominant sense of humor for popular memes too. I think …

Terrible Memes That Are Bad…Just Kidding! They’re Good Memes
If there’s one thing I hate, it’s when late-night talk show hosts ask actors, «did anybody pull any funny pranks on set?» Usually, they ask this seemingly benign question to child actors with nothing better to discuss. It’s a slightly better question than «do you have a boyfriend,» but not by much. The prank question …
