A few lucky fans enjoyed a sneak peek of Spiderman: No Way Home after the trailer was allegedly leaked on TikTok on Sunday night. But those who are feeling a bit envious have little to fear. Word on the street (and on Twitter) is that the clip was a recording of a recording, and from what we can see on YouTube, they’re telling the truth. While Sony/Marvel Studios acted quickly to remove the original video from the internet, they weren’t quick enough to stop the inevitable barrage of reaction memes pouring from Twitter. Despite our desire to get more pumped for the December movie, the memes easily blow that fuzzy trailer out of the water. There’s jokes about the leak being the brainchild of an embittered Scarlett Johansson, as well as the last trailer leak at the hand of Spider-Man himself (Tom Holland.) Best of all? The twitter memes that roast how absolutely angry Kevin Feige (the President of Marvel Studios) must be. At the end of the day, while we have to wait for the real thing (or at least a leak of better quality) at least we’re getting some laughs.
