We all have at least one loved one who has asked for our help in getting their life together. We’re happy to offer them aid because we care about them, and would never want to see them fall off the path they deserve. The strange thing about some loved ones, though? They take advantage of the help they receive, often benefitting tenfold by way of manipulation and gaslighting. Then, ungratefulness takes the form of them melting down on you once you take issue with the way they’ve been handling things. Unfortunately, such is the case in the story you’re about to read.

A woman’s sister decides to move across the country to help the woman with her children and general life, hoping that some more hands can truly make a difference in the woman and children’s lives. The very fact that she picked up everything and uprooted her life to lend a helping hand is proof of the her generous nature, but like most people realize, generosity and kindness is not genetic.
