Frontier Airlines is Getting Dragged For Their New Greedy Policy

Going on vacation is supposed to be fun and relaxing. When you start planning exciting new trips, you have the chance to narrow down options for everything you want to see while taking a break from the mundane reality of your everyday life. Traveling should be about creating memorable experiences with people you deeply care about. It certainly shouldn’t be about having to fight with airline associates about the size of your carry-on bags.

Unfortunately, Frontier Airlines has been causing quite a stir on social media after being called out for a greedy new practice. Associates are being incentivized with $10 dollars for every oversized carry-on they flag. TikToker @CassandraBotnick shared a video discussing an incident that occurred with her sister. Frontier Airlines accused her sister of toting a carry-on bag that was too large to meet their requirement. She filmed herself tossing the bag into the measuring slot to prove that her bag was indeed small enough.

Still, the airline associates told her she needed to pay a fee. At first, she refused. By the time she was ready to give up and pay them what they wanted, they told her she wasn’t even allowed on the flight anymore. To make matters worse, they wouldn’t rebook her on a different flight, either. She had to spend an additional $200 on a different airline for a ticket home. Frontier has been getting dragged for this particular situation since they handled it so poorly and unprofessionally.
