Midwesterners Debate Which States Count As ‘The Midwest’

The Midwest is one of the most populous regions of The United States. Even though a lot of costal elites love to make fun of the middle of the country, there are some states without a pot to p*ss in who desperately want to be a part of the Midwest, even though they clearly aren’t. Think about a state like Oklahoma. It’s technically not in the South or the Midwest. It’s just the weird southernmost state of The Great Plains, and let’s be real, nobody is repping the great plains anymore. People in Nebraska and the Dakotas claim they’re part of the Midwest, but are they just bandwagoners? There are some outlier states that have a few straggler citizens who think they’re in the Midwest (Pennsylvania and Tennessee being some of them), but they’re delusional. A poll recently came out where populations of certain states said whether they identified as «midwestern,» and the results are quite interesting.
