‘Order up!’: A Venti Vanilla Frappe of Starbucks Memes with Extra Whipped Cream and a Misspelled Name for Baristas and Their Loyal Coffee Drinkers

Do you take your memes with an extra shot of espresso?

Sometimes the caffeine-induced scaries are worth every delicious drip of coffee. And sometimes, you’re sitting at your desk at work wondering why everything feels urgent, and you’re vibrating, and your heart is beating loudly inside of your ears. That’s the price of being a coffee drinker, baby, and it keeps ya on your toes! Physically and mentally. Baristas get it too, because while they’re working, they’re downing an espresso shot whenever they get a chance. Once the Starbucks rush comes through, they’re slinging drinks left and right. But an hour later, after the rush ends, they’re still in drink-slinging mode, but with no drinks to sling. So instead, the caffeine starts to turn against them.

What do you do when this starts to happen? When that last caffeinated beverage had you saying, «uh-oh,» because now you’re wondering why nothing you do feels right? As an avid coffee drinker, I have figured it out: You scroll through memes! Specifically, ones about exactly what you are going through. Too much coffee doesn’t have to mean a weight on your chest. It can mean it’s time for scrolls and LOLs! And yes, do it whenever you need. In the office, during a meeting, in the bathroom, or on the bus home. You will be okay! But maybe order decaf next time.
