We love the r/AmITheAsshole subreddit. It’s a brilliant place where people can cast judgment on others based on their actions, and while we love every possible outcome, there’s something extra satisfying about seeing clueless, entitled jerks taken down a notch by the people of Reddit. You know the type. They share their story expecting to be cleared of any possible wrongdoing, only to find out their shitty behavior has made them a lot of new Internet enemies. We don’t see these posts as much as we would like, so this week, when u/Top_Tank882 shared a story that was prime A-hole material, we were thrilled. 

OP shared that he and his girlfriend were having dinner when she received word that a friend had undergone a C-section. After she shared information about the procedure, instead of expressing concern for his partner’s friend, OP decided to make a misogynistic joke about the patient’s tightness «down there.» Needless to say, his nurse girlfriend was not amused. Things could have ended here if OP had apologized for the crass remark, but he opted to double down, insulting his girlfriend and then ultimately abandoning her at the restaurant, forcing her to wait in the cold for an Uber. 

It’s amazing that this guy lacks the small amount of self-awareness that would stop him from posting this story at all. It’s clear he was hoping for sympathy, but we’re delighted to report that he received none. The replies are pure gold, and definitely put him in his place. Maybe he’ll think twice before opening his mouth in the future.
