‘She had the biggest smile on her face’: Retail worker shares wholesome story in which he sold a sweet and excited old lady an electric scooter

Is there anything more wholesome than seeing old people do completely unexpected things? Things that are in no way appropriate for people at their age, but at the same time, demonstrate how fun and lovely life can be. The best example of that, and you might know where I am going with this, is the movie Up. Where you see Carl with all those balloons sticking out of his chimney, and him making his dream come true by traveling to Paradise Falls. Oh, this movie gets to me every time.

Anyways, old people. This Reddit story provides another wholesome example of how sweet and inspiring old people can be. A retail worker in a store that sells electric scooters encountered an old lady who wanted to buy a scooter for herself. She took it out for a test drive outside the store, bought it, took a picture with it to send to her grandkids, and then continued to drive it around until the battery ran out.

My heart is personally warmed. Scroll down for the full inspiring story. Once you are done, and feeling up for a little bit of drama,  click here for a story of a woman who decided to punish her entitled co-worker by spoiling her favorite book.
