Everything could be technically «free» if someone else pays for it, but planning your wedding around the expectation that all of your guests—family, friends, and work buddies—will front the cost isn’t following the trendy «free wedding» style; you’re just freeloading. 

Recently, a trend has been going around promoting «free» weddings, or events that are essentially crowdfunded celebrations of a couple’s love. While it’s wholesome in its principles, honoring a fresh marriage without the hefty price tags, realistically, a potluck-style wedding isn’t going to look at all like the Pinterest infinity-budget weddings we’re used to seeing online. However, this entitled bride wanted the best of both worlds, insisting she could plan a wedding for $0, pushing costs on her friends and family instead, to achieve her ultimate wedding dream.
