Jesus’s birthday is probably one of the most famous of all time, and it’s also the one time of year that the more lackadaisical Christians out there (sometimes) show up to church. It makes sense, then, that most of them decide to go all out for their services around this time. In most establishments, this involves bumping all the best festive carols, and maybe sprucing the place up a bit with some respectful decoration. 

However, there are others that take the whole shebang a lot further than a meticulously crafted Nativity scene. This was brought to the attention of the internet recently when people were given a sneak peak into the Christmas service for a church in Texas, involving musicians flying in the air during Little Drummer Boy. It was clearly a performance meant to impress, but that wasn’t how many viewers took it. Is this really an embodiment of the spirit of Christmas?
