Back in 1974, when DnD was invented, they didn’t have video games and Netflix to distract themselves, so sitting down for a long sesh of DnD was probably one of the most engaging things you could do. And it’s proven to remain so, even in the shadow of the high-octane nonsense you can get up to online.
