Congratulations, everybody who occupies the working world, you have nearly made it to the end of another year. All you have to do is pull through this confusing couple of days where we seem to be between calendars, and bam, you will be staring down the barrel of another Q1. Who knows what 2026 may hold when it comes to the workplace? If some predictions are to be believed, many people will be counting themselves lucky to still have a job by the end of next year.
Assuming that fate is avoided, though, employees can be assured that they will likely have to put up with the same old mixture of boredom, annoying coworkers, and management decisions that appear to have been made with nobody except management in mind. The upside is that work memes will still be here to take the edge off it all, taking the worst parts of having a job and turning them into scenarios that we can find humorous. During these days when levels of procrastination are likely to be higher than usual, they are the perfect way to pass a couple of minutes on the clock. It is preferable to thinking about work goals for the next year.
