Is there a single 9 to 5 worker out there who finds Monday to be their favorite day of the week? I know there are those workaholics who genuinely find that the prospect of more work puts a spring in their step, but they are in a tiny minority. For most of the conventional working population, that first day back on the clock after a (not so) well-earned break is nothing short of endless tedium. There are so many silly little tasks to attend to, and annoying coworkers to face. 

After gritting your teeth through the first half an hour or so, it calls for something to take the edge off. Work memes are the perfect vehicle for this. They don’t take up too much of your time, but they provide the refreshment that is much needed in the stale air of the office. They know the pain, even if you’re the one living it.
