Like a lot of people, I can find it hard to get motivated when there is the prospect of some much-needed time off on the horizon. My fingers may be on the keyboard, but my mind is yearning for that precious four day weekend. Also, this is coming from somebody who often enjoys their job. I dread to think how I would feel if I was down in the dumps about it.

Sadly, this is the case for many who find their job satisfaction to be lacking. What we’ve got to remember is that watching the clock isn’t going to make it tick by any faster. However, a touch of distraction might do the trick if we’re really suffering the long wait to Thanksgiving.
