The Best Star Trek Memes of the Week (March 4, 2025)

After watching the Oscars this weekend, especially the In Memorium section and all the incredible artists we lost last year, I’m incredibly grateful that William Shatner is still with us. I don’t want to jinx anything by reflecting on his lengthy life. It feels like every time I watch a TV show or movie starring an old, still-living celebrity, they pass away days later. It happened with Angela Lansbury, Dabney Coleman, and Gene Hackman. I’m starting to think I shouldn’t be watching any movies or TV shows with any actors, regardless of their age, until I get ahold of whatever is happening here. I fear that even typing William Shatner’s name will send negative waves into the universe that will do you know what, making thousands of Trekkies cry. Knowing my luck, he’ll pass away tomorrow, but he just as well might live for 10 more years. I’ve thought Tom Leherer would pass for years, and he’s still kicking at 96.
