Spring is coming, which means we’ll finally start seeing more members of the animal kingdom out and about regularly! Winter is about eight tiny reindeer, dogs in winter coats, and one nefarious groundhog who keeps saying there are six more weeks of winter. Spring is when you finally remember that birds, squirrels, and fish also live in your community and are way happier than you that the weather has turned. The only wild animals I have seen with any regularity since daylight savings time ended are rats, which are not a sight for sore eyes. They’re the reason I have sore eyes. 

Even if you live in an area without a lot of wildlife, you see how a change in weather livens everybody up. After all, humans are animals too! If you can’t wait until 3 weeks from now when everything is bright, wild, and fun, these animal memes will tide you over until then.
