My favorite Disney villain is, by far, Cruella de Vil. First of all, I love a name that is severely on the nose, and you don’t get more on the nose than ‘Cruella DeVil.’ She’s one of those villains that has so much fun with being evil; killing puppies is such a whimsically horrible hobby, don’t you think? I also respect that she outshines every character in that show by miles! Roger and Anita, who? Pongo and Perdita where? The only name on my lips rhymes with Isabella Until. 

I don’t mean to brag, but I played Cruella de Vil in my community theatre’s production of 101 Dalmatians KIDS. For those of you who are blissfully ignorant, 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a musical adaptation of the movie for kids under 13 to perform. I was the only 5’6 11-year-old in the community theatre, so naturally, the role went to me. I wore 4-inch platforms and was the height of glamour and stardom. If you, like me, were a Cruella apologist even before the Emma Stone movie, you’ll adore these Disney memes, darling!
