Have you all heard the drama regarding Elon Musk firing programmers at Twitter? It is honestly so stupid I couldn’t even believe what I was reading. For legal reasons, this is all alleged, but ALLEGEDLY, Elon Musk has ranked the programmers at Twitter based on the number of lines of code they wrote in the past year and fired those at the bottom of that list. So basically, Musk fired all of the programmers who fixed the buggy code and kept all of the programmers who wrote said buggy code. Such management! Great CEO-ing!

I have seen some programming supremacists on Twitter telling managers at Twitter who got fired to «learn to code.» As cheeky as that sort of comment is, it’s clear that nobody is safe over there. I’m praying to any poor programmer still working under Elon Musk’s tyranny, and I’m pouring one out for those who have lost their jobs.
