‘This is shorter than a CVS receipt’: Toronto dispensary prints customer order that has entire script of ‘Shrek’ in the special instructions

Special order requests are dangerous territory for many a service worker. Sometimes they’re simple or surprisingly wholesome, and other times they turn out to be a battleground on which a hellish customer wishes to begin a duel. I don’t blame anyone who has to deal with them for approaching them with trepidation, even if they come in the form of a meme (sorta).

This is exactly what happened to one dispensary worker in Toronto. They received an order that used up an excessive amount of paper because the customer had decided to copy-paste the entirety of the first Shrek movie script into the special instructions. Posting about the ordeal on TikTok, they revealed how they had decided against trashing it and instead displayed it as a wall decoration.

Viewers were split between getting some nefarious ideas of their own and fretting about why there wasn’t a character limit on the order form. One thing’s for sure, this anonymous prankster livened up a retail shift.
