After the overwhelming success of Wicked: Part 1, people all over the world patiently waited to rush to the movie theatre to see its sequel, Wicked: For Good. They expected to be equally amazed by the conclusion of this wonderfully wicked story. The second part, however, has gotten mixed reactions, both from devoted musical theatre fans and people who had no idea what to expect.

Even so, no matter how you rate Wicked: For Good, there is one thing that Wicked has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt: Adapting Broadway productions to the big screen is very good for musical theatre. We need more adaptations of beloved musicals, so they can reach those who would never have been able to see them otherwise.
