Wow, whatta a weekend! Congrats on surviving the first half of the holidays, Thanksgiving. That one is not easy. You were so easy to taking it «easy,» but then all of a sudden you had to be a parent, a host, a chef, and entertainment for the kids table (which also included your 17-year-old niece??). Guess what, you did a great job. It doesn’t matter if the turkey was dry or not, it matters that you got to make memories with your family. Is that memory of you stubbing your toe on the way to the dinner table holding the dessert pies and throwing on right into the face of grandma? Maybe… At the time you were upset, but looking back, come on! That is funny. That memory is going to make your kids smile, and isn’t that what it’s all about?

So keep it going, mom and dad! You’re doing great, sweetie! You are really good parents. But it’s time to take a breather before the end of the race that is all of December. Oh baby, this month is so hectic. School’s out and so are the relatives, again… Plus, you have to do a Santa Claus-worth of shopping? You’ll do great, again, parents. You always do.
