Dogs are sort of naturally funny. Just as some people can open their mouths and make a room laugh just by being themselves, dogs have the same ability. And they can do so without saying a word (at least in English). Maybe it’s because they have such cute faces and we’re more ready to laugh at things we find cute. 

Maybe it’s because we can project any manner of things onto them because they have no way to talk back. And maybe it’s because they do inherently funny things, like chase their own tail or walk into glass doors. Either way, there are millions of dog videos on the internet for this reason. We just can’t get enough of them. We want to see dogs just exist because it fascinates us. I would watch a 24/7 live stream of an adorable dog. I just would. Don’t pretend like you wouldn’t.
