Some memes are made for the suits and only the suits. They pander to the tastes of Richie Rich-type figures, trying their darndest to get some of their precious blood money to no avail. Little do those memes know that appealing to the rich and powerful does very little in the meme industry. Memes are an endeavor by and for the people, and no amount of Buffalo nickels thrown our way can change that. Nobody is in the meme game in order to make a million billion pounds. Even the most prolific creators of iconic memes that will last generations barely make a cent on their contributions to the culture. They’re in it because memes feed us in ways we didn’t know we needed to be fed. Memes are for everybody, and I would never gatekeep these hilarious memes from the common man, blue-collar workers, or the corporate elite. They are for everyone.
