40 of the Freshest and Funniest Tweets of the Week (March 22, 2025)

Sending out a tweet is like saying a joke in front of a group of people. Odds are you thought about it, crafted it (for at least a split second), and think it’s going to resonate with others. You hope that it doesn’t immediately fall flat, but it might. You have no way of knowing because you’ve probably never said it before. The order of your words matter, the way you say them, and how they sound to others are all make-or-break factors of your line sinking or swimming

Same thing with Twitter. You put something out there in the hopes that someone else will pick it up. Worst case scenario, though, it falls upon unwilling ears. And then nothing happens and life moves on. Or maybe, in rare cases, you lose some amount of cache in your community. But usually, you’re just then left to go home, wipe the clown makeup off of your face, and try to do better next time. Or arrange for a new passport and a trip out of the country.
