The Beatles is perhaps the most enduring band on the planet and happens to be one of my favorites. Their sound evolved so much in the span of their 10-year career that it’s astounding to look back on. And many of those songs have stood the test of time, sounding as fresh in 2023 as they did in 1963. 

One of my favorite ways to interact with the Beatles is via a cover band I happened to see in a street festival in my neighborhood one summer. They’re called American English, and I swear they’re the Beatles reincarnate. From their onstage mannerisms to the way they play to their improvised in-character banter between songs, it’s uncanny. It’s also an excellent way to listen to their music live, since, for obvious reasons, we can’t see the real ones anymore. Another great way to keep up with the Fab Four is through memes, which the kids are still churning out, proving their relevance. Yeah yeah yeah.
