Entitled house guest spends the night at friend’s home office, fails to leave the room until fed-up host sends their toddler to wake them up at 3:30 pm: ‘Thinking of charging rent’

When we were kids, having sleepovers used to be the best thing, something you were always excited about and looking forward to. Who didn’t jump on the opportunity to stay up late with their best friends, eating junk food, and gossiping about other people in school? Even the next mornings were always fun, having breakfast together and getting ready for school, or lazily doing nothing together if it was the weekend.

It was the best.

Even as young adults, sleepovers remained a fun activity for friends, especially when they happened in your own place, without the presence of your parents. You had the whole place for yourselves, and just as when you were kids, you could cook food together, have a movie marathon, and gossip about work.

Somewhere along the way, probably when we started having families of our own, we lost that innocence that made sleepovers so much fun. Suddenly, having someone stay over becomes kind of a chore and more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Just like what happened in the story below.
