Getting shamed for skipping a wedding you were never actually invited to is a bold move, and it takes a specific kind of family to pull it off with a straight face

If I didn’t know any better, I would read this story and assume that it’s like you can’t win with in-laws, and specifically, mothers-in-law. Like it doesn’t matter what you do, you’d still be blamed.  But that can’t be true, right? Everyone on earth gets along perfectly with their mothers-in-law, right? ESPECIALLY WOMEN! Right???
