One of my favorite things in life is a charcuterie board. I love to get a little cheese, get a little jam, and assemble it atop a piece of squishy baguette. I enjoy trying all the combinations available to me, and I love anything that gives me an excuse to eat more cheese. Anything you want to put on it, I approve. Want to throw a little muenster on there? Well, call me a little muenster because I’m absolutely stanning. Want to dollop a little bit of Dijon? I’d be delighted. Make little roses out of prosciutto? Better than any Valentine I’ve ever received.
People get so creative with their charcuterie boards, it’s commendable. I’ve seen mountains of brie and rivers of ricotta, all leading to a forest of olive bread. I welcome it all. Set it in front of me at a party and that’s where I’ll be all night.
