It’s could out. It’s always dark. And you’re always tired. What in tarnation is up with that? We hate it. And yet, it’s times like these you get to really appreciate the little things. Like how satisfying a cheap lil bowl of ramen can truly be. You think soup season just means chicken noodle or tomato? Oh no, baby. Bring us that spicy goodness! That noodle soup. The classic ramen. Whether you’re getting the pricey good stuff from that local asian fusion place or the cheap microwavable one from the bodega around the corner, it hits the spot every time.
What is your ramen of choice? Chicken? Beef? Miso? Veggie? We are fans of any of those. Just when you think maybe you have had enough ramen BAM, it’s snowy and you want something to warm up your soul on a budget that is more than that bland canned minestrone. Ramen, bestie. Ramen is always the answer. We know we keep harping on about how it’s ramen season, but, to be honest, we eat ramen throughout the year. It’s always ramen season in our books. There is just something about a nice little cheapo bowl of ramen after a hard day’s work on a cold cold day that really keeps us going.
