This week, our animal memes are going to focus on the animal of the hour…the one and only Easter Bunny! I am not sure why we’ve chosen a bunny to represent festivities surrounding the resurrection of Jesus, but I’m sure there’s a reason out there! South Park did an episode about this very quandary, and …

The Funniest Animal Memes of the Week (March 29, 2025)
It must be rough being a pigeon. As a New York City resident, we aren’t exactly conditioned to feel sympathy for the dirty birds that fly around the five boroughs. They are only second to rats as the resident animal of our contempt. However, it’s not their fault that they congregate in cities and are …

Gatekeeping is sometimes necessary. I find it unquestionably important to gatekeep cat and dog memes from the rest of the animal memes. There is no shortage of lists displaying hundreds of thousands of dog and cat memes. If I were a betting man, I would say there are more cat memes than any other type …

Animals deserve the absolute world. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t believe otherwise. If we as humans are going to destroy the planet in one way or another, we might as well make the lives of our animal friends good while there’s still a planet to inhabit. My family celebrated our dog’s 10th birthday 10 …

Last weekend, the Eagles defeated the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, and as an animal lover, I couldn’t be more pleased. I think that animals make the best mascots, and any mascot that’s a human being (especially a negative depiction of Native Americans) is inferior. Animal mascots are classic! The Chicago Bears and the Carolina …

Let’s be honest…the landscape of memes right now can be depressing. There are so many memes about catastrophic global events that browsing the internet can become as unfun as watching the news. What happened to the good old days when wholesome and humorous memes ran this town? I don’t want to see vaguely humorous pictures …

Cat owner abandons her cat in front of a salon, gets angry when her friend tells her she didn’t ‘rehome’ the cat: ‘I told her that re-homing involved finding an owner and vetting them in advance.’
Nearly every story of having to rehome a pet is deeply tragic. The ones that make me the saddest are when pet parents leave their aging pets at the shelter because they are not young, energetic, and playful anymore. Could you imagine making an animal live out the rest of their days apart from their …

Remember the «birds aren’t real» meme? What was the deal with that? It started as a joke conspiracy theory about the most absurd concept, but it quickly became something people believed. Or maybe they didn’t think it and just posted like they did. I believe memes like «birds aren’t real» opened the floodgates for far …

Why don’t we have animal movie stars anymore? That might sound like a joke question, but I’m being serious here! Sure, maybe the 20th century only had Lassie, but Lassie will literally live on forever, no matter how many times he gets mysteriously replaced! Even movies starring non-dog, non-star animals are scarce these days. There …

Sometimes, I reminisce about the giant yellow snake that lived in my middle school and contemplate how insane it was that nothing bad ever happened to her. There was an Animal Science elective course offered in 7th and 8th grade, one of the school’s most popular classes. As far as I knew, the only thing …
