When should we get involved with our friends’ relationships?

Romance is one of those areas of life where it is easy to feel like you are overstepping as a friend. A lot of people aren’t interested in listening to advice when it comes to finding and maintaining love, and on top of that, they may just be plain insulted by somebody who acts concerned about or judges their relationship. You have to tread carefully when it comes to friendship and love.

At the same time, it is only natural to want to look out for a friend who seems to be having a bad time in their relationship. Whether they are not being treated properly or something is happening behind their back, it’s important to step up and be the community that they need when they need it. This is not the fun or easy option all the time, but it is part of the duties of friendship. Making a person in this kind of situation feel thought of and informed is one of the most necessary parts of getting through the ordeal. They may not always appreciate it at the time, but it is a role that must be played regardless/
