Extra noise is one of the most contentious issues that comes from living in an apartment.

How quiet and/or tolerant your neighbors are when you have this kind of home often feels like the luck of the draw. The last building I lived in, we never had any issues, even if we had multiple people visiting; meanwhile, I have friends who face complaints from the neighbors living above them if they have a normal volume conversation on their balcony after a certain time.
