We’re no strangers to making drastic body modifications in the name of some unreachable goal. But those goals and standards are ever-changing, so doing something permanent might be a huge mistake in the long run. Remember the trend of people getting donut-shaped implants put in their foreheads? Where are they now? 

So when a TikTok video was posted showing a slew of freshly tattooed faces, allegedly imitating freckles, outrage summarily ensued. But, it’s funny how some beauty trends become normal over time. Will freckle tattoos join the ranks of lip injections and eyebrow tats or will they be cast aside like the Kylie Jenner lip challenge and the banana diet?
