In these heady days of rapid artificial intelligence advancement, I sometimes wonder what I would do for work if I was replaced by a robot. It’s a scary thought, because skills-wise I am pretty useless. That’s why I have a silly made up job collecting memes and talking about how stupid the internet is. 

All things considered, perhaps the safest bet would be to learn a trade. There are skills shortages in this area, and it’s something that we will always need. If I ended up going down that route, maybe I’d try out being a plumber. It seems less risky than being an electrician or similar, and I’ve had other roles where I’ve had to deal with peoples’ bodily fluids and lived to tell the tale. 

I realize in reality, the path to doing plumbing probably isn’t that simple. It’s not going to stop me pretending that I know what I’m talking about, though. I mean, I put together all these memes about it, right?
