Sci-fi lovers just have more fun. We are a capable of imagining worlds outside of our own, and it helps us feel closer to humanity. The right sci-fi flick can take us out of ourselves and into something magical. It’s a great community to be a part of. There are endless opportunities for themed parties and cosplaying and maybe even a little live action role-playing. But if you’re not that kind of sci-fi fan, then you still are the kind of sci-fi fan who has an affinity for the seemingly impossible. We love to imagine the limits of technology, and to understand what would happen if we rubbed up against those. It makes us smarter, more open people.
