We use Facebook differently as we age. Many millennials posted 100+ pictures of a singular night in the club in 2009, yet they are doing nothing of the sort today. You can’t be an online party girl forever, and often, the craziest of partiers become the most wholesome parents around. Their Facebook accounts reflect that.
There is considerable value in posting adorable photos of your family online. Every day, your Facebook reminds you of what you posted on that day X amount of years ago, and it’s wild to see the time go by so simultaneously slowly and quickly. I can’t believe the things I did 8 years ago were only 8 years ago. And yet, 8 years is a long time to me. With the passage of time, you might come to regret some of the crazier stuff you posted on Facebook, but at least you can see how much you’ve grown.
