There has been a lot of rumbling recently about Ryan Gosling possibly joining the MCU. He’s still riding the high of starring as Ken in Barbie, and all eyes are looking to what he’s going to do next. I don’t know the last time a major established star like Gosling has attached themselves to a new Marvel project, and I’m super excited to find out what it’s all about. Some people are jokingly claiming that Gosling will replace Jonathan Majors as Kang (Colman Domingo being the more obvious choice for the recast). Others are perking their ears up at Steven Yeun dropping out of Thunderbolts, suspecting that Ryan Gosling could be the new MCU Sentry. Personally, I think he’d blow us away with a portrayal of Ghost Rider, which is a role he expressed interest in 2022. Wherever he ends up, I’m sure that his hilarious acting chops will become Marvel meme fodder.
