Group vacations always start with optimism and end with someone clinging to an inflatable mattress, wondering if friendship is really worth spinal compression. In this case, our protagonist is the only one with a driver’s license, a job waiting on Monday, and apparently, the last shred of reason left in her friend group. All she wanted was some mountain air and a normal bed. Instead, she landed right in the middle of a logistical circus.
At first, the plan looked solid. Two rooms, everyone gets a real bed, and the dream of adult travel almost came true. But then, Jay decided a pool was nonnegotiable.
