Ever heard something that you just can’t get out of your head?

Sometimes someone will drop a truth bomb on you that will stay in your mind for ages. Maybe they tossed it off like it was nothing, but your life is forever changed. This happened to me with «100 years new people.» This is the concept that every 100 years, the Earth is populated with an entirely different set of people, give or take a couple of centenarians. When you think about it this way, history makes a lot more sense. No wonder we often forget what has gone before us. 100 years, new people! It’s a catchy idea, and it unlocked a part of my brain that I wasn’t using before. This is what a great shower thought does for us. 

What is it about the shower that inspires these sorts of ponderings? Is it the fact that we’re truly alone for one of the only times in the day? Is it because water has a cleansing effect and makes us feel new again, able to unleash all of our creativity and ideas onto the world? Whatever it is, it’s a universally acknowledged idea. Whenever we have to bathe ourselves, we open our minds to the possibility of greatness. We hope that the divine knowledge will come through and bless us, so that we may impart it to our friends and loved ones. Sometimes inspiration strikes, and sometimes you just come up with a retort to something that was said to you weeks ago.
