There’s nothing quite like sifting through used clothes for hours just to finally find the perfect piece. It doesn’t always happen, real thrifters know that not every at-bat results in a home run, but when it does, it hits hard. When Macklemore invented thrifting in 2012, the world wasn’t quite ready yet. We were preoccupied …

Couple Cuts off the Bottoms of Their Shoes To Walk Barefoot in Public Incognito
I have never been a «barefoot» person unless you mean strawberry Barefoot wine that I drank while going batty from social isolation in the spring of 2021! I have lived in cities my entire adult life and feel no need to go out on the sidewalk and expose my epidermis to the elements any more …

‘One of the dumbest social customs of all time’: Dude Sparks Debate Slamming Homes With ‘Shoes Off’ Policies
My parents are the exact opposite of clean freaks, but I was raised in a pretty strict shoes off home. To me, it makes perfect sense. No matter how careful we are, we trudge through all manner of dirt and grime in our footwear when we go outside. Why on earth would we be OK …

Tyrannical School District Bans Teachers From Wearing Sneakers or Tennis Shoes

Insecure Dad Attends Wedding With Daughter, Refuses to Let Her Wear Heels
Men’s height is an insecurity that refuses to die. Whether they hover round the coveted 6 foot mark or they are on the more petite side, they are always rounding up an inch or two (or three plus, if they happen to be on a dating app). While it’s true that any obsession over men …

Tall Person Memes For Long Boys That Extend Over 6 Feet
Being tall can be rough. I am a person of the tall experience, but that claim does come with some caveats. I’m 5’11, which is tall for a girl, but not for a guy. Being 5’11 would’ve been the bane of my existence if I were a man. I would spend every waking hour cursing …

Comfy Ugg Memes to Slip on as the Weather Gets Colder
Forget all those clichéd generational marketing terms, like Millennial or Gen Z. If I belong to any culturally distinct age group, it’s generation Ugg. Throughout my adolescence, this queen of ugly-comfy footwear reigned supreme as the beloved off-duty shoe for teenage girls everywhere. When chillier temperatures started to make an appearance, it was as if …
