We loved the weirdest stuff on the internet when us millennials were kids. Why were we so hooked on skits like Salad Fingers, Happy Tree Friends, and Charlie the Unicorn? The memories of watching these online series are fond, but if you actually watch one of these right now, you truly start to wonder what part of your childhood trauma they caused.  

Recently, a grown millennial decided it was time to show her mom what she had been watching as a kid. What was actually going on behind the computer screen while the mom was making Hamburger Helper in the kitchen… It was Salad Fingers. Arguably, one of the creepier of the nostalgic online watches from millennials. 

From his creepy voice to his love for rusty spoons, the boomer mom watched with her mouth agape. She was aghast and could not believe this was the childhood «television» her kids were watching.
