Woman Tries To Sell Wedding Dress, Gets Slammed For Reasoning Behind It

If the word «bridezilla» has taught us anything, it’s that some women can get seriously weird about weddings. The concept of the special day seems to flick a switch in peoples’ brains that encourages them to act out in ways both unreasonable and irrational.

For some, this extends far beyond the day itself. Former brides can get so attached to the memory of their special day that they want to share it with their nearest and dearest by any means possible — and things can get messy when this doesn’t go the way they want. A prime example of this can be found in one woman’s Facebook Marketplace post, in which she is selling her «size 2 petite» wedding dress.

So far, so normal, until the comment section comes into play, and she decides to reveal the backstory of the sale. Apparently, her reasoning behind it was because she had wanted to pass down the dress to a daughter-in-law or granddaughter, but they are all «too big».

Her unnecessary commentary was skewered by @emily_murnane on Twitter, who expressed horror at her judgmental attitude. This was shared by many others, who had some not especially kind things to say about the dress, too. What’s so wrong with just sending it to the consignment store?
