Today is the last day of Disney’s 100th anniversary. This year has had some high highs but some equally low lows for the Disney brand. I, for one, was sad to see that Wish, the crowd jewel release of Disney’s 100th anniversary canonizing the titular star in When You Wish Upon a Star, didn’t find …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (November 19, 2023)
Last week, a teaser trailer for the new Inside Out movie came out, and there’s a new emotion in town! After watching the first movie, I thought that Joy, Anger, Disgust, Sadness, and Fear were the only emotions anyone could ever have (those are the emotions in the heads of Riley’s parents, after all), but …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (November 12, 2023)
I feel like I had a very different experience watching The Little Mermaid when compared with other kids. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie. My sister and I played mermaids at the pool for years, but I don’t know if I necessarily connected with Ariel as a character. I always felt overwhelmed and …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (September 10, 2023)
Walt Disney is one of those figures that you have to look at as a complex person. He’s not a villain, but he isn’t necessarily a hero, either. He was a brilliant man who could make his visions for his movies and theme parks come true just by articulating them. However, he did not do …

25 Pixar Memes for Animation Lovers and Aficionados
A lot of people treat animated media as if it’s lesser, childish, and not to be taken seriously. Obviously, that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m not going to pretend that I’m some sort of animation expert, but if you’ve seen a single Studio Ghibli film, Pixar, or even just the newest Spider-Verse flick, …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (August 20, 2023)
Last weekend, I rewatched High School Musical 2 for the first time in years. That movie was one of the DVDs that was constantly playing in our house growing up, and it shows. My sister and I remembered all the words to all the songs, which I think is mostly due to the soundtrack constantly …

The Best Disney Memes of the Week (May 20, 2023)
Disney is addicted to acquiring properties. From Pixar to Star Wars to Avatar, they’ve got some pretty high-profile brands in their wheelhouse. Unfortunately, there is one Disney property that has been so underused it’s almost criminal. I’m talking, of course, about our felt friends, the Muppets. Disney acquired the Muppets in 2004, and they haven’t …

The Best Disney Memes of the Week (May 13, 2023)
It’s easy to forget how much Disney changed the theme park game. Before Disneyland opened in 1955, no amusement park had ever achieved such a level of immersive theming. Arguably, no theme park has surpassed Disney ever since. You could make the argument for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but I’m not in the …

The Best Disney Memes of the Week (May 6, 2023)
On Monday, May 1st, the singer, actress, and star of the upcoming remake of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey, attended the Met Gala. On the red carpet, she was asked this hilarious question. «If you had to eat Flounder or Sebastian, who would you eat?» Perfect question. 10/10, no notes. As the consummate professional and …

Cowboy Memes For Western Movie Enjoyers
If you have spent significant time with old people, you know that there are a million Westerns on TV at any given time. While the genre has fallen out of fashion, it dominated the film industry for its first 50 years. In the silent era, one out of every five movies were Westerns. It’s difficult …
